GraceNotes - My Reflections

Proverbs 31:30

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

Proverbs 18:22

He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.

In a world full of trends and hashtags, there's something truly timeless about being a woman of God. Proverbs 18:22 says, "He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord." It's like the ultimate reminder that true beauty isn't just in how we look, but in who we are. And then Proverbs 31:30 drops the mic with, "Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." It’s like God’s way of saying, “Girl, your heart is what really shines!”

Being a woman of God is like wearing the perfect little black dress—effortlessly elegant, always in style, and made to last. It's about having a heart full of grace, kindness, and a love for God that sparkles brighter than any diamond. So, while the world chases after filters and fleeting trends, I’m choosing to be the kind of woman who radiates God’s love—because that’s the kind of beauty that never goes out of style.

Proverbs 18:24

One who has unreliable friends soon come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Proverbs 27:17

As iron sharpers iron, so one person sharpens another.

Friendship isn’t just about finding someone to sip lattes with or share your latest outfit haul—it’s about having a sisterhood that sharpens you like iron sharpens iron. Proverbs 18:24 reminds us that "there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother," and when you find that kind of friend, you’ve got a real gem. These are the girls who will pray with you, keep you grounded, and call you out (with love!) when you need it most.

Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." It’s like having a glam squad for your soul—these are the friendships that keep you polished and shining bright. In a world where it’s easy to get lost in the scroll, having a community of faith-filled friends who hold you accountable is everything. They’re the ones who remind you to stay true to your values, help you grow in your walk with God, and make sure you never forget that you’re worth more than gold.
