The Littlest Jackson

The day Jonas turned one, Justin and I were thinking that we were ready to expand our family. We prayed and asked the Lord that if it were for us, He would make a way. A few weeks later, I decided to take on a new journey with going back into corporate America after having been working from home for a non-profit organization for about a year while being a new mom. Taking on a new job meant leaving my baby for the first time…ever - which was a huge pill to swallow. 

After transitioning into corporate America, I started to realize that maybe I should put having a second baby on hold for a while. Of course I wanted to have a second baby, but I also didn’t want to experience not being as hands-on as possible with my new baby. So, the quest for baby number two was halted for the time being (I also secretly - not really- did not want to have another December baby) and March was on the way.

God works in mysterious ways. Because on Easter 2020, I found out that we were expecting our second baby. It’s funny that when you have plans for yourself, God will always show you that His plans take priority. 

Justin and I are SO excited to be welcoming Baby Jackson to the crew this December. Please share our joy with us as we experience the remainder of this pregnancy!
