Our Little Pumpkin

Honestly, twenty-twenty had too much dip on its chip... and I had too much on mine. I was literally trying to navigate pregnancy, being a wife, chasing a toddler, working from home and just trying to figure out all of the changes in my routine. When it came time for me to consider adding baby shower plans to my forever long to-do list, I decided that I’d need some much needed help thinking everything through ESPECIALLY because I’d initially planned to not have a shower (I only opted to have one because I was having a girl this go around and lots of family and friends encouraged me to have one).

As soon as I decided I’d need allllll the help in the planning department, I reached out to my good friend, Brittany (@brittanyhb) at Bunch Bashes Design and she got me all the way together.

We started off by determining that I’d have a drive-by shower due to the pandemic and keeping everyone’s health in mind. From there, we chatted about my overall vision (theme, color scheme, number of guests, etc.).

Well, of course, I had none of those details etched out in my mind, so, Brittany sent me over several different mood-boards of options for themes and we decided to go with a BoHo Pumpkin Patch.

Brittany then gave three different package plans on decor, vendors, etc. that fit the theme that we were going for and after we chose a plan. These plans were based on price ranges and had details such as backdrops, furniture rentals, invitations, decor, treats/takeaways for guests and sooo much more.

After we decided on a plan, she moved forward with reaching out to the vendors on our behalf... which to say the least was AMAZING because I just couldn’t be bothered this go around, lol. She got all of the pricing set up and scheduled drop-off/pick-ups for all of the deliveries for the day of the shower. Keep in mind, she was able to do all of this within a short timeframe AND from several states away from me!

Anyway, after all the planning, the shower couldn’t have been any more beautiful. We were finally able to see so many of our loved ones after MONTHS of being isolated from the world to celebrate a special time in our lives.
